Hemp
Can Change The World
We know this sounds like the
same ol' hippie rhetoric or a guise to legalize marijuana.
But the economical and lifestyle ramifications are tremendous. Take the
paper and cotton industries:
You can use hemp to make paper that is stronger and last longer than tree
paper... and hemp grows 2x as fast as trees. Hemp is also cheaper to grow
than cotton; it doesn't require as much pesticides or deplete the soil
and hemp cloth is stronger than cotton.
WE ARE FOR USE OF HEMP IN A WAY THAT POSITIVELY IMPACTS THE WORLD.
We use hemp/cotton canvas on our bags, because it allows us to reduce
the use of nylon and thus conserve oil, which you know is a non-renewable
resource (unlike hemp which grows like a..ahem...weed.)
