Supple Vitesse SL 700c Clincher Tire

The Supple Vitesse SL is a fast and light clincher with a supple tubular casing. Its superlight casing not only reduces rotational weight, but also reduces its rolling resistance and does an amazing job at smoothing out the road. Made by Panaracer Japan.

• Supple tubular casing

• High Mileage carbon rubber compound with all-road tread pattern

• There is also an EX (Extra Wear) version that has a slightly thicker tread than the SL (Superlight) version

• Kevlar bead

• Sizes: 23c to 42c

• Weights: 23c (190g), 28c(220g), 33c(250g) 38c(270g) 42c(340g)

Supple Vitesse SL 700c Clincher Tire

  • The Path Less Pedaled Tries Out the Supple Vitesse 42's

The Supple Vitesse, as the name implies, is an amazingly smooth and fast riding tire. It’s 42mm width means that there is tons of air volume to provide suspension. Unlike tires just a few years ago that were wide, but prioritized flat protection, the Supple Vitesse offers great ride quality. I’ve been riding it for the last few months and have enjoyed it over varied terrain, everything from paved road rides to mixed terrain rambles up in the Verdugos, Griffith Park and Forest Park here in Portland.
