SUMMER FOG is NOT a design concept. Rather it is an availability concept.

It is about YEAR ROUND availability for what the clothing industry considers "seasonal" items. The idea for Summer Fog came when we heard complaints from cyclists that
they could not find a long sleeve jersey in the summer.

Most of you would say, "What nut wants a long sleeve jersey in the summer?" Well in San Francisco many summer rides begin at a chilly 50° to 55° and the sun might not come out the entire day. Temperatures in our and other maritime cities stay rather
cool year round, so there are plenty of days where a long sleeve jersey is needed.
Just to make a statement that not everyone's riding environment follows the typical seasons. So YES now you can get long-sleeve jerseys and knickers in the summer
and short sleeve jerseys in the winter and fall.
